Professional Background
I work with children and adults. I am also an author of children’s books.
Through my practice as a psychotherapist, I help the person to make the necessary changes in their inner life, as well as in their relationships with others, so they can face life using their own vital potential. I believe that, although happiness may be an ideal, living life involves conflicts—whether conscious or unconscious, individual or in relation to others, in a couple or in a social context. It also involves self-recognition, the recognition of one’s own capacities and limits for problem-solving. In my therapeutic work, we sometimes use humour, thereby supporting the creative potential that emerges. In my understanding, this facilitates change and acceptance.
I would say that I try to work with my patients so that their tigers become paper tigers, and thus they can feel, think, and act in accordance with the fact that they are living their own life.
When I accept a person into psychotherapy, I assume responsibility for the process alongside them. It is a dialogue between two people: one being the expert on themselves, and the other trained in active listening, to generate a dialogue that can unfold or create words, meanings, and life itself where they were once stuck.
I am an advocate for children and young people, convinced that each of us, as human beings, can develop our own way of thinking, in accordance with our beliefs. I am inspired by the work of D.W. Winnicott and S. Freud.
My consulting rooms are in Sant Cugat and in Gràcia. I offer sliding scale fees based on need. If required, I offer a free initial consultation. I also conduct sessions online.
